M.S. Mechanical Engineering (2026)
Purdue University
Andrew Morrissey graduated with his MS in Mechanical Engineering in May 2026. He was part of the Liddell Research Group starting as an undergraduate at Purdue, ultimately completing a combined BS/MS with a thesis. His undergraduate research focused on mapping environmental burden-shifting effects in international trade and assessing the impacts of these effects on nation-level industrial decarbonization metrics. For his graduate thesis project, he implemented automated, product-level life cycle assessment for an oil pump manufacturing workflow in the Industry 4.0 testbed at IN-MaC. He was co-advised by Prof. Nathan Hartman. A few of Andrew’s hobbies include playing soccer, spending time with friends, lifting, and studying Japanese.
